Head Start Director

The Head Start Director has full responsibility for all aspects of a multi-site, birth to five Head Start Program serving 400 children from 13 cities and towns on the North Shore of Massachusetts. This job includes direct supervision of all content area managers, ensures compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, Pathways’ Policies and Procedures, local state and federal regulations and supports the vision and mission of the organization. Director also prepares on-going grant applications, interacts with the Head Start Policy council, establishes community collaborations, and supervises all budgetary aspects of the program. The ideal candidate will have considerable Early Education and Care/Head Start knowledge, demonstrated ability to make data-driven program improvements, strong technology skills, and familiarity with state licensing standards.
