Since we began providing services in 1967, Pathways for Children has aspired to providing programs of excellence. We are now a leading provider of education and care programs serving over 500 children and their families from thirteen North Shore communities.
Pathways’ Head Start and Early Head Start programs have attained national accreditation by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. This status places our program in the top 8% of all early education programs across the nation.
We serve children from birth to age 13 and their families through these programs:
- Early Head Start
- Head Start
- Family Child Care
- School Age Care
- Family Enrichment Program
- Coordinated Family and Community Engagement
Over the years, Head Start has emerged as a cutting edge program that incorporates all domains that influence a child’s positive development. We remain committed to the validated performance measures and ideals represented by that model, and work tirelessly to replicate the proven model across all Pathways programs.
In addition to providing excellence in early education programming to children, Pathways has always been committed to serving the entire family, whoever that might include. We are committed to a holistic approach, incorporating public schools and collateral organizations that may be engaged with the family.
Our comprehensive, all-inclusive educational programming offers meals, nutrition assessment, health and developmental screenings, referrals for special education services, family support, enrichment programs, and field trips and transportation when necessary.
Pathways’ holistic, all-inclusive approach along with our outstanding performance reviews and professional accreditations are what set us apart from most early education and care organizations!
