Head Start, North Shore, 30 hrs. per week @ 42 wks. BS/Masters in ECE and knowledge of Head Start standards and coaching experience preferred.
Promote social and emotional development in children enrolled in Head Start and transform children’s challenging behaviors.
Build the capacity of staff, families and the program to prevent, identify, intervene and reduce behavioral issues and their impact.
Ability to observe and provide feedback and support strategies to team members and to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Able to manage the behavior of children individually and in groups and to respond to behavioral crises quickly and safely.
Provide in-service workshops/trainings for staff and families regarding behavioral support and strategies.
