Program Administrator

Pathways for Children is seeking candidates for 2 newly-created positions of Program Administrator.  One position is assigned to all of our North Shore Head Start sites (with an office in our Beverly facility), the other is assigned to our Gloucester site and will be located in our Gloucester facility.  This position will be responsible for administration and management of program operations of the sites within his/her jurisdiction.   The Program Administrator ensures and maintains compliance with Head Start, EEC regulations and Pathways policies.  The Program Administrator will ensure high-quality service delivery for children and families by monitoring the health and safety of their program sites, ensuring adequate on site supervision and effective day to day program operations.


North Shore position:  Director II certification and EEC Lead Teacher Preschool Certification is required.

Gloucester position:  Director II certification, EEC Lead Teacher Preschool Certification, and EEC Lead Teacher Infant Toddler Certification is required.

Educational requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with three years administrative/supervisory experience.  Consideration will be given to candidates with an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and significant supervisory experience.
